EASYCLEAN PRIVACY POLICY
1. ABOUT THIS POLICY
This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of EasyClean ("EasyClean," "we," "us," or "our") processes information when you use our Android application. It covers our storage and media tools, optional home-screen launcher, network tools, notifications, advertising, analytics, and related support.
You do not need to create an EasyClean account to use the current application. Device permissions, acceptance of our Terms of Service, and consent to advertising or analytics are separate matters. This policy is a notice about data practices; it is not, by itself, a request for consent to every activity described below.
2. INFORMATION PROCESSED ON YOUR DEVICE
Files, photos, video, and audio. With the access allowed by Android and the permissions you grant, EasyClean can examine accessible files and media to identify junk, large files, duplicate files, screenshots, similar photos, and media available for compression. Processing may include file names and paths, sizes, formats, modification dates, thumbnails, media dimensions and duration, file hashes, and visual similarity information. We also read storage capacity and available-space information to display storage use and scan results.
These file scans, duplicate and similarity comparisons, previews, and compression operations are performed on your device. The current application does not upload your photos, videos, audio, or document contents to us or to the listed advertising and analytics providers as part of these operations. Temporary thumbnails, scan records, and compression working files may be created locally. Output files you choose to save can remain in shared storage after the application is removed.
Installed applications and launcher information. EasyClean reads application package names, labels, icons, installation information, and information about app permissions that Android makes available. It uses this information for the app drawer, app search, shortcuts, folders, widgets, app-management views, and local app checks. Launcher arrangements and preferences are stored on your device.
App usage. When you grant Android Usage Access, EasyClean reads available usage statistics, such as the apps used, last-use times, foreground duration, and available launch counts, to display usage information. Separately, the launcher records applications opened through it to populate Recent and Frequent views. These launcher records include package names and opening times. During subsequent launcher-record writes, records older than seven days are removed. This seven-day rule applies to that local launcher history, not to every category of information in this policy.
Notification access. If you separately enable notification access in Android settings, the launcher can access active notifications, including the originating application, notification identifiers, titles, text, and related display information, to show notification dots and previews and support notification actions. This access may expose sensitive information contained in notifications. The current notification-display implementation processes this information locally and does not send notification contents to our advertising or analytics services.
Network and regional information. EasyClean uses connection state, available Wi-Fi information, device language and region settings, and SIM or mobile-network country codes where Android makes them available. These signals support network tools and regional configuration. Country or approximate region can also be inferred by service providers from an IP address. The current application does not request precise GPS location permission.
3. INFORMATION SENT TO SERVICE PROVIDERS
EasyClean integrates Google AdMob, Google Firebase services, Adjust, and Google Play Install Referrer. Depending on the service, device settings, available permissions, and applicable requirements, these services process information such as:
- - IP address, device and operating-system characteristics, app version, language, timestamps, connection information, and approximate location inferred from network information.
- - Advertising identifiers where available, app-instance or installation identifiers, push-notification registration tokens, and SDK-generated identifiers.
- - Installation and referral information, advertising network or campaign attribution, first-use time, and app/session activity.
- - Interactions with EasyClean features, onboarding and default-home setup, and advertising requests, loading or fill information, impressions, clicks, closures, revenue, currency, and related measurement information.
EasyClean also generates a random installation identifier and stores a first-registration timestamp. These are included in Adjust callback parameters. Identifiers linked to a device or installation may be personal information even when they do not contain your name.
We use this information to operate and improve the app, understand feature usage, measure advertising and acquisition, calculate advertising revenue, deliver advertisements and notifications, configure features, and detect invalid traffic or abuse. Installation source and attribution information can affect the availability, frequency, or presentation of advertisements and app experiences.
Service-specific details:
- - Google AdMob: requests and displays advertisements and processes advertising, device, network, interaction, and measurement information. Advertising may be personalized where supported and permitted, or contextual/non-personalized. Advertisers and ad-technology providers involved in delivery may also receive information under their applicable policies.
- - Firebase Analytics: measures app usage and advertising events, including revenue events sent by EasyClean. Analytics information can be associated with app-instance, device, and advertising identifiers where available.
- - Firebase Remote Config: obtains configuration values and may use installation and analytics-related signals to deliver configuration or audience-specific settings.
- - Firebase Cloud Messaging: uses installation/registration identifiers and topic subscriptions to route notifications and service messages. Turning off Android notification display does not, by itself, delete an existing Firebase installation or stop every SDK connection.
- - Adjust: measures installations, acquisition sources, sessions, business events, advertising impressions, and advertising revenue. It receives available device/advertising identifiers and the installation identifier and registration timestamp described above.
- - Google Play Install Referrer: supplies installation referral and related attribution information, which EasyClean uses to identify installation sources and configure the app experience.

4. REQUESTS MADE BY NETWORK AND APP-CHECK TOOLS
Some tools connect to external services as part of the function you request:
- - Network speed testing downloads test data from an external endpoint. The current default is Cloudflare's speed-test service, and the endpoint can change through configuration. The endpoint operator receives your IP address and ordinary request/connection information. The test can download approximately 50 MB and may use mobile data; actual transfer size varies with test duration and connectivity. Temporary test data may be stored locally.
- - The Wi-Fi connectivity check currently makes a request to https://www.facebook.com/ to check reachability. The recipient receives your IP address and ordinary request information. This request does not sign you into Facebook or require a Facebook account. A network check is not an inspection of all traffic on your device.
- - The app store-availability check requests Google Play listing pages using the package names of applications being checked. Google receives the queried package name, your IP address, and ordinary request information. Although the app inventory is otherwise used locally for these tools, this check necessarily discloses the particular package names being queried to Google.

5. ANDROID PERMISSIONS AND SPECIAL ACCESS
The access available to EasyClean depends on your Android version, device manufacturer, and your choices. Some declarations are normal/system permissions; others require an Android prompt or a separate settings action. A permission declaration does not mean that Android grants it or that every available data type is read.
- - Photos, video, audio, and storage access (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_MEDIA_AUDIO, and older READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): find, preview, compare, compress, save, and remove accessible files and media. Android may limit access to selected media.
- - All files access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): supports broad file scanning and management across accessible shared storage when you enable it in Android settings. It does not provide unrestricted access to other applications' protected private data.
- - Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): supports app usage displays and usage-based organization. You can revoke it in Android's special-access settings.
- - Notification permission (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): allows reminders, feature shortcuts, and other EasyClean notifications. This is separate from notification-listener access.
- - Notification-listener access: separately authorized in Android settings for launcher dots, previews, and notification actions.
- - Installed-app visibility and package queries: supports the launcher, app search, application checks, and app management. Android restricts which apps are visible.
- - Uninstall requests (REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES): opens Android-managed application-removal flows. Android controls confirmation and completion.
- - Internet, network, and Wi-Fi state access (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE): supports the network tools and connections to advertising, attribution, analytics, configuration, and notification services.
- - Advertising ID and Android advertising-service permissions: support available advertising identifiers, attribution, and advertising topics or related platform services used by advertising SDKs, subject to Android settings and availability.
- - Phone-state declaration (READ_PHONE_STATE): the package declares this permission. The current app's regional logic reads SIM/network country information where available; it does not use this permission to read phone conversations, SMS contents, or call logs.
- - Boot events, wake locks, foreground-service capability, and vibration: support scheduled work, ongoing operations, reminders, and feedback within Android restrictions. Not every operation uses a foreground service.
- - Default home, widgets, shortcuts, task management, launcher settings, installation-referrer, license, messaging, and platform attestation declarations: support launcher integration, installation measurement, notification delivery, or platform/SDK services. Restricted system capabilities remain subject to Android approval and availability.
The current application does not request camera, microphone-recording, contacts, SMS-reading, call-log-reading, or precise-location permissions for its cleaning and launcher functions.
6. WHEN INFORMATION IS SHARED
Information is disclosed to the service providers described above when the relevant SDK or network function operates. Providers may process information on our behalf and, for certain advertising or platform purposes, under their own policies and responsibilities.
We may also disclose information you provide to us when reasonably necessary to respond to your request, meet a legal obligation, protect users and the service, or address fraud or security issues. If the app or its operation is transferred, relevant information may be transferred subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.
We do not provide your scanned file or media contents, or notification message contents, to advertisers through the current app's cleaning and launcher implementations. Advertising-related transfers of identifiers and activity information may nevertheless be considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted-advertising activity under certain privacy laws. Applicable rights and choices are described below.
7. STORAGE, RETENTION, AND DELETION
Local settings, scan information, launcher databases, usage records, cached files, attribution information, and advertising-measurement state remain in app storage until removed by the relevant retention logic, cache maintenance, Android, clearing app data, or uninstalling. Files exported to shared storage are separate and may require manual removal. Local temporary files can be refreshed or cleaned during normal operation.
Some launcher layout data and preferences may be included in Android's device backup and restoration, depending on your system and backup settings. A system restore can therefore restore certain local data after reinstallation. You can manage backups through the relevant device/account controls.
Information held by Google, Adjust, advertising participants, network endpoint operators, or our support mailbox has a separate lifecycle. Retention depends on the service, the purpose, account-level settings, legal requirements, and provider policies. Uninstalling EasyClean does not automatically erase information already received by those parties. We retain support correspondence as needed to handle the request and related legal or security requirements; we do not promise a single fixed retention period for every data category.
8. YOUR CONTROLS AND PRIVACY RIGHTS
You can deny or revoke Android permissions and special access in device settings. Features that depend on that access may be unavailable or limited. You can change the default Home app in Android settings, disable notification access, control EasyClean notification categories, and manage available advertising-ID and ad-privacy controls. Available options and wording vary by Android version.
Revoking file or usage access limits that access; it does not automatically disable unrelated advertising or analytics SDKs. Resetting/deleting an advertising ID or turning off personalized ads does not necessarily stop contextual ads, fraud prevention, or all measurement. The current app does not provide a dedicated in-app switch that disables all analytics or deletes all SDK-held data.
You can clear EasyClean's local data or uninstall the app to remove ordinary app-private data, subject to Android backup/restore behavior and files saved outside the app. If you use EasyClean as your launcher, select another Home app before removing it.
Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, a copy, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or opt-out of certain advertising-related disclosures, and to challenge a decision or complain to a supervisory authority. Some rights are subject to exceptions. Where consent is required, accepting general terms or granting an unrelated device permission is not a substitute for that consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Send requests to muhammadasdullah866@gmail.com with the subject "EasyClean Privacy Request." Describe the request and your relationship to the app. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify and locate the relevant record. Do not send passwords, private photos, or unrelated sensitive files. We may need to direct requests concerning a provider's independent processing to that provider. You may use an authorized agent where applicable, and you will not be denied applicable privacy rights for exercising them.
9. LEGAL BASES AND INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing relies on the basis appropriate to the activity: providing requested features, consent where required, legitimate interests such as service reliability, measurement and fraud prevention subject to your rights, or legal obligations. This statement does not make every basis apply to every activity.
Our service providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and other jurisdictions with different privacy laws. Where required, transfers must use applicable safeguards, such as approved contractual protections or another lawful transfer mechanism. Provider information and contact details above can be used to request further information.
10. SECURITY
We use access controls and Android's app-security mechanisms to protect information within the scope of our operation. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Keep your device and apps updated and review file selections before deletion or compression. We do not claim that every third-party destination, device, or connection is under our control.
11. CHILDREN
EasyClean is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, or below a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us so that we can assess the situation and take appropriate steps.
12. POLICY CHANGES AND CONTACT
We may update this policy when our features, providers, or practices change. The revised version will show a new update date. Material changes will be communicated, and consent requested, where required by applicable law. Changes do not retroactively supply consent for a new purpose.
